1591 Series Multipurpose ABS Plastic Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing’s 1591 series enclosures offer a simple, multipurpose plastic housing with integral card guides, ideally suited for vertically mounting printed circuit boards and various other electronics. The 1591 series is available in a wide range of sizes and colors, with or without mounting flanges, and in flame retardant or economy ABS plastic. Flanged versions are available with the choice of lid or bottom flange.

Designed to meet IP54, the 1591 series is endlessly adaptable, easy to machine, and economical. Flame retardant versions, molded in UL 94 V-0 rated ABS, include machine screws that thread into integrated brass bushings, which make it ideal for repetitive assembly and disassembly. Economy versions are assembled via self-tapping screws into plastic screw posts.

Available accessories include PC board card adapters for horizontal mounting and clear polycarbonate lid alternatives for all sizes.
