An external capacitor (CSS) can be used to adjust the soft-start time during startup, making it easy to suppress inrush current and the adjust slew rate. In addition, although it is a 500 mA regulator with soft-start and power-good functions, it has a lineup of 1.2 mm x 1.2 mm x 0.4 mm packages, which contributes to system space savings.
