Easily add IEEE 802.3bt compatible Power over Ethernet (PoE) to any Ethernet port using Skyworks’ complete family of devices. The quad-port Si3472 provides up to 30 W using two-pair IEEE 802.3bt or 45 W legacy mode in a compact 5 x 7 QFN package. The SI3473 provides octal ports at up to 30 W using IEEE 802.3bt two-pair protocols or up to 45 W using legacy mode in industry standard 8 x 8 QFN package.

The single-port Si3471 or quad-port Si3474 provides up to 90 W four-pair power on each Ethernet port. Use industry standard 255 mΩ sense resistor or choose the more thermally efficient 200 mΩ sense resistor option.
