TE Connectivity's braking assemblies provide more controlled braking for the drive and increased braking torque

Image of TE Connectivity Passives HPBA Series of Braking Resistor Assemblies TE Connectivity (TE)’s HPBA series braking resistor assemblies are designed to increase the braking torque capability of a variable frequency drive. This produces faster and more controlled braking for the drive and increases the braking torque of the drive system. Each braking assembly is created using heavy gauge galvanized steel with a wired terminal block, as well as provisions for an optional thermostat. These assemblies are constructed for harsh environments while maintaining a professional design with a wide range of enclosures available. These resistors are offered in several combinations of horsepower, input voltages, and duty cycles to ensure multiple options are available for braking drives.
