The 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4611 family is specially suited for higher-temperature applications such as metal bonding applications, including those experienced in typical powder coating processes. It can withstand temperatures up to 450°F for as long as 30 minutes and is available in the 3 thicknesses listed in the slide. This concludes the discussion on the 3 most relevant families of 3M VHB Tape for electronic applications. Stocked rolls of these tapes are usually between ½” to 2” wide and are 36 yards long. The next slide shows shorter versions of two of the families of tapes just discussed.
