Advanced Energy manufactures several types of LED power supplies, which are all AC/DC converters. Supplies for 100 to 240V_AC have the letter S added to the part number, while supplies for 100 to 277V_AC have SW added to the part number. Constant current power supplies provide a fixed output current over a wide range of output voltages. Constant voltage supplies maintain a fixed DC output voltage up to the maximum current limit of the supply. Dimmable supplies provide an adjustable constant current output and require either an external potentiometer or a 0-10V_DC signal. The AC input itself can not be used for dimming. Advanced Energy supplies range in power from 25W to 300W.
