In summary, the LTC2947 is a power and energy monitor that includes a 30A sense resistor and targets DC supply rails in the 0V to 15V range. It integrates three DS ADCs with an internal or external precision time base to enable accurate measurement of current, voltage, power, charge, energy, temperature, and time. All readings are stored in registers accessible by a selectable I2C or SPI interface. A dedicated alert pin is also available which signals when a measurement exceeds warning thresholds.
