The MCSK features another exciting technology from Microchip: mTouch™. With the mTouch™ peripheral on the dsPIC33F, implementing capacitive touch based buttons and sliders is easy. The MCSK takes advantage of this new and exciting feature with a capacitive touch slider built right onto the board. Used to control the motor speed, the source code for implementing the slider is available as part of the MCSK software package.
