In summary, there are three different families of autosense translators available from Nexperia. The LSF family, which provides only a pass transistor and requires external pull-up resistors for operation. The NXS family, which also uses a pass transistor but also adds one-shots for acceleration of rising edges only. Finally, the NXB family which uses push-pull output drives instead of a pass transistor and has one-shots for acceleration of both rising and falling edges in both directions. These three families can provide solutions for high-speed translations across a wide range of voltages for protocols such as I2C, SMBus, SPI, UARTs, and others. The customer's particular solution will depend on the drive power required and the rise and fall times for the specific application.
