Panasonic’s long distance sensor which is available in both EKMC and EKMB series has the same design as the standard detection distance sensors with the exception being that they are equipped with a larger lens containing a total of 92 detection zones. These additional detection zones help to fill in the gaps that would have otherwise been blind when detecting at a longer distance. With less blind spots, these sensors allow for enough accuracy to reliably detect motions up to 12 meters from the sensor.
