Automotive components are required to have the ability to operate reliably under many different extreme conditions. Among these are wide temperature ranges, extreme thermal cycling, corrosive gas environments, and mechanical shock and vibration. Additionally, automotive components must have the ability to tolerate current surges induced by switching transients. Panasonic automotive resistors are designed to meet all of these requirements as discussed in the following slides.
