The ZMS100 is suitable for both Class one type applications, and for Class two type applications where no ground wire connection is necessary. Units are compliant to EN 55011 and EN 55022 Level B conducted EMC standards, and Level A radiated standards. For medical applications, worst case leakage current is less than 250µA at 230VAC input, 50Hz. Touch current is less than 100µA for class two applications. Instead of using electrolytic caps, the ZMS100 series units were designed with a ceramic start-up capacitor. This extends unit life significantly as it eradicates start-up cap dry out problems. The ZMS100 long life design is backed by a three year warranty.
