With the exception of output current rating, BD9673EFJ & BD9876EFJ are physically and functionally compatible with each other. Optimal solution selection is dependent on required output current. BD9673EFJ can deliver up to 1.5A of output current and BD9876EFJ can provide up to 3A. In general, they exhibit better efficiency when operated under loading conditions near their maximum ratings. Evaluation kits are available for both ICs. Boards can accept a 24V maximum input, and while the output can be adjusted through component substitution, it has been set to 5V.
