It is pretty easy to separate the six standard Gap Pad product offerings in this Family into two series of three products each. The first series of materials are those that are very soft and very conformable, with a broad deflection range and over a dozen different thickness options. These products, HCS10, 569 and 579, typically have a thermal conductivity (k) from 1 to 3 W/m-k. The second series of Gap Pads is the 900 series. These are the G974, 974 and 976 materials, which focus on higher thermal conductivity in the 5 to 6.5 W/m-k range. But in order to be so thermally conductive, they sacrifice being as soft and having as broad of a deflection range.
