ADI’s Circuits from the Lab circuit note CN-0397 features the evaluation board EVAL-CN0397-ARDZ to be used with the Arduino-compatible platform EVAL-ADICUP360. The CN-0397 is a complete solution for power light recognition system in smart agriculture. This system features a 3-channel, sigma delta (Σ-Δ), 16-bit analog-to-digital controller (ADC), a single/dual AD8500/AD8502 low power precision CMOS operational amplifier (OP AMP), and a low power ADR3433 3.3 V voltage reference. The CN-0397 provides details for a three-photodiode application that is sensitive to different wavelengths (red, blue, and green). The entire circuit uses less than 10 mW (typical) which is ideal for handheld battery applications.
