TEN-WIRH Railway/Industrial DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power's TEN-WIRH range of 3 W ~ 40 W high-reliability DC/DC converters are offered in compact and fully encapsulated footprints with an ultra-wide, 4:1 input range of 36 V_DC ~ 160 V_DC.

The TEN-WIRH series includes five power platforms covering 3 W, 6 W, 10 W, 20 W, and 40 W power levels with single and dual outputs ranging 3 V_DC ~ 24 V_DC and high-efficiency operation up to 90%. All models feature 3,000 V_AC reinforced I/O isolation and remote on/off control. The series has an internal filter for EN 50121-3-2 compliance (EMC for rolling stock) and meets EN55032 Class A emissions (conducted and radiated). The converters have embedded protection from undervoltage input, short-circuit, overtemperature, and overvoltage conditions. Single-output models have a minimum ±10% output adjustment range. The proven and certified design guarantees the highest resistance against thermal shocks, moisture, mechanical shocks, and vibration. An extended operating temperature range of -40°C up to +95°C without derating (depending on the model) makes them ideal for harsh-environment applications in both railway and industrial applications.

All models are EN 50155 certified, including EN 61373 for mechanical shock and vibration and EN 45545-2 for fire behavior. The TEN-WIHR series are IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 approved for IT and industrial electronics equipment and supported with a three-year product warranty.
