Image of Vishay's WFC Series Metal Foil Current Sense ResistorVishay’s WFC series of current sense resistors offer low resistance values in the smallest footprint in their current sense portfolio. The foil on ceramic construction of the WFC series enables high power capability, lower TCR, and reaches lower resistance values than is available with comparable SMD thick-film current sense resistor technology. The high power density and lower resistance values allow for reduced board space and better measurement accuracy and efficiency. These features make it an ideal choice for designers that require reduced power dissipation and improve temperature stability. For the best performance in the smallest package size in Vishay’s SMD current sense portfolio, the WFC series is the solution.
