The heavy-duty connectors are used for secure, simple, and time-saving assembly of machinery and facilities. The connector housings are made of die-cast aluminum and offer excellent protection against dirt, moisture, and mechanical stress. Special modular connectors can integrate signals, a power supply, pneumatics, and data connections into a single connector.

Weidmuller's connector inserts are made from high-quality insulation materials allowing secure transmission of high voltages in a tight space. The single-type of plastic used in this product line is UL-listed and is suitable for railway applications. This allows unlimited world-wide use of the RockStar connectors.

The heavy-duty connectors consist of a connector insert and a protective enclosure. Weidmuller's RockStar enclosures are made of high-quality die-cast aluminum making them impact- and corrosion-resistant, yet compact and lightweight. The patented stainless-steel clips make them totally water- and dust-proof. They can be used under extremely harsh environmental conditions and are resistant to frost and vibrations.

The heavy-duty connectors offer a variety of accessories for different application needs such as crimp contacts, RailMate mounting rail system, tools, coding, adapter plates, cover plates, and gaskets.
