MTi-600 Series Industrial Sensors

The Xsens MTi-600 series is a suitable design-in module for high-volume industrial applications. The MTi-600 series provides a combination of small size, industrial-grade performance, and competitive pricing available in IMU, VRU, AHRS, and GNSS/INS variations. Interfaces include the choice of standard interfacing options and popular CAN bus alongside RS-232 and UART interfaces. All units are factory tested and temperature calibrated to the range of -40°C to +85°C. A unique offering in this series is the MTi-670, which supports GNSS receiver data for a full GNSS/INS solution. The MTi-670 supports the UBX protocol for u-blox MAX, NEO, and ZED families of GNSS receivers, as well as NMEA input from other GNSS receivers. The MTi-600 series can output many different data types at different frequencies, such as 400 Hz for sensor-fused data and up to 2 kHz for acceleration data.

The MTi-600 series copes with magnetic interferences and distortions by compensating for both hard iron and soft iron distortions. All Xsens MTi products are compatible with Xsens’ proprietary software, MT software suite. The MTi software includes open source XDA (Xsens API) allowing users to modify, extend, and compile XDA on nearly any platform, extended MT SDK including Python and ROS examples, improved NMEA support for easy third-party equipment integration, and upgraded magnetic field mapper (MFM) showing live feedback.
