451 & 452 Socket and Header Series | Datasheet Preview

3M’s 451 ribbon cable wire-mount socket assembly features a small pitch to deliver a high connection density in a limited space. A 30 microinch gold and gold flash plating versions are available as well as various friction latch configurations to allow for an increased protection against accidental disconnects when using a box header with an optional strain relief accessory. The 452 header series compliments the 451 series with SMT and thru-hole configurations. Tape-and-reel packaging is available for SMT while vertical and right angle mounts configurations are available for the thru-hole headers. This standard shrouded header is available with or without ejector latches, where the innovative assembly method allows for the addition of a positive latch and ejection functionality with minimal size addition.
