Murata IMP005 Wi-Fi modules provide Wi-Fi and ethernet connectivity to connect IoT devices to the Electric Imp cloud service. The IMP005 provide dual band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and up to 100 Mbps ethernet, and are based on a Cypress WICED SoC. The module runs the impOS, which manages connectivity and security and works with the imp Cloud Platform, making it easy to securely connect and manage sensors, devices, and services. The SoC includes a 320 MHz Arm® Cortex™-R4 processor with over 1.2 MB of RAM for application use, support for secure boot from external QSPI flash, 28 GPIOs, PWMs, serial interfaces, and a USB 2.0 host port, all in a 10 x 10 x 1.2 mm LGA package.
