B5W-LB | Datasheet Preview

Unaffected by backgrounds, Omron’s series of light convergent reflective sensors can accurately sense the target object. Previously, the sensing of black, shiny, or transparent objects could be unreliable, thereby requiring more person-hours for development. The B5W-LB series feature a wide sensing range allowing for object shifting. Both analog and digital output models are available, with the digital output type offering an IP50 rating for environmental resistance. Sensing distances range from 55 millimeters to 10 millimeters, and sensors can be easily connected to control equipment thanks to their simple ON/OFF output. Ideal applications include lab and analysis equipment, packaging equipment, vending machines, hand detection, sanitation equipment, and more.
