Sensors are a rapidly growing market that require very low power and good resolution to resolve small fluctuations. This equates to millivolt and even microvolt level differences that need to be measured by the ADC. Therefore, the ADC needs a high noise-free resolution or effective number of bits (ENOB) to measure these small changes. The MAX11200 family offers 20.9 bits NFR and 23.6 bits ENOB, making it a great fit for measuring these minute changes from the sensor.
