Cinch Dura-Con micro-D connectors are designed for applications that require a rugged, durable, and high-performance interconnect. This connector family includes MIL-C-83513 series connectors along with Cinch’s own commercial equivalents, which offer an expanded range of termination and hardware options for all-plastic and metal shell wire versions and right-angle and straight PC board-mount terminal blocks. Three termination options are available: insulated wire where the wire is crimped and then epoxy backpotted at the factory; uninsulated wire where 24 gauge, gold-plated uninsulated wire is crimped at the factory; and solder cup for achieving lowest contact resistance. Connectors are also offered in high-temperature and high-performance hermetically sealed versions. Applications include miniaturized airborne electronics and data processing equipment, where shorter signal paths are needed.
