Vishay's automotive inductors handle high transient current without saturation

Image of Vishay's IHLP® Automotive InductorsVishay's IHLP power inductors show increased performance over similar ferrite core inductors in DC-to-DC converters for automotive applications. The IHLP series' performance offers engineers the widest range of space-saving PCB footprints and low-profile solutions compared to conventional ferrite and through-hole technologies.

  • Available in eleven standard footprints with a large range of heights
  • All standard IHLP inductors are available in four different core options:
    • High saturation current (A1 series)
    • Low DCR (1A series)
    • High temperature: +155°C (5A series)
    • Higher temperature: +180°C (8A series)
  • AEC-Q200 qualified
  • Shielded construction
  • Frequency range up to 5.0 MHz
  • Lowest DCR/µH
  • Handles high transient current without saturation
  • Ultra-low buzz noise due to composite construction
  • 100% lead (Pb)-free
