OmniFET families are designed and manufactured in ST proprietary, vertically integrated VIPower mixed-mode processes. OmniFET products are monolithic devices and include analog and digital circuit blocks along with interface and drive circuits and a power stage N-channel MOSFET for driving/switching the load. The newest OmniFET III products are in the M0-5, the fifth generation of this evolving process for smart power products, and are rated to 41 V. Most first generation OmniFET I devices from our M0-1 processes are no longer available for new designs, but many of the products from OmniFET II which are rated for applications ranging from 40 V to 70 V are still available and will be supported for years to come. Legacy applications that use products from M0-1 and lower voltage M0-2 should consider redesign to OmniFET III to enjoy state of the art performance, and long term product availability.
