In regard to traction, high speed trains use over 3,500 lbs of Power Film capacitors per train. Most of the weight is in the high voltage overhead power line filters, with many FF series capacitors also being used in the inverters. Coming down in scale, FF series film capacitors provide power solutions across all applications including; light metro, tramway, subway, airport (and theme park) monorail, baggage systems, escalators, walkways, and conveyors.
