MCJ Metal Element High-Current Jumpers

Stackpole MCJ series high-current jumpers utilize all-metal construction for the highest possible current ratings per chip size. The MCJ series features extremely low resistance, making it ideal for handling high currents. Current ratings range from 8 A in an 0201 chip size to 122 A in a 2512 chip size with overload current capability up to 244 A. In addition, the 0402, 0603, and 0805 sizes are AEC-Q200 compliant.

Zero-ohm jumpers are widely used in various electronic circuits for a broad range of markets and end products. They simplify circuitry routing and manufacturability; however, traditional thick-film jumpers are typically limited to 10 A or less. The MCJ series, with its high current handling capability, is suitable for more demanding applications and is less sensitive to surge currents. Additionally, the MCJ series allows for the use of smaller components, reducing board space and enabling more compact product designs.
