Users can select the appropriate device for applications with VIN ranging from 3 V to 36 V, IOUT ranging from 2 A to 30 A, and adjustable VOUT down to 0.6 V or 0.8 V depending on the device. Switching frequencies of up to 1 MHz allow the use of small inductors to minimize PCB footprint and a proprietary constant On-time PWM control with input feed-forward results in ultra-fast transient response while maintaining a relatively constant switching frequency over the entire input voltage range.

The EZBuck synchronous regulators feature multiple protection functions such as VCC under-voltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limit, output overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. Several families are offered in QFN 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, DFN 3x3, TSOT23-6L and EPAD SO-8 packages making them ideal for industrial, telecom, and networking equipment.
